With this feature, you can restrict your content to the users who were patrons at the time it was posted (e.g. March 2025 patrons will always be able to access the restricted content published in March 2025). New patrons won’t access past restricted content.
To restrict content by month of publication:
- In your admin panel, go to Patrons Tips > Tiers and click on the tier you want to modify
- In the Settings section, find Content restricted to patrons of the corresponding period
- Search for your categories and tags according each content type (posts, media and products)
- Update your tier to save the changes.
Contents are now restricted by month of publication:
- It is unlocked for patrons who contributed during the month of publication with a tier that allows them to see the content. The content will always be unlocked, even if patrons unsubscribe in the future.
- It is locked for all other cases. Unlocking depends on current time:
- If we are still in the month of publication, content can be unlocked with a sufficient tier.
- If we are no longer in the month of publication, content is locked forever. Only patrons who contributed during the month of publication with a sufficient tier are allowed to see it.
