You can use categories and tags to restrict your content. Use your usual categories and tags or create new ones specific to your patronage system. To create new ones, in your admin panel, go to:
- For posts: Posts > Categories or Tags > Add New
- For media: Media > Categories > Add New
- For products: Products > Categories or Tags > Add New
Once you’ve configured your categories and tags, it’s time to restrict them.
- In your admin panel, go to Patrons Tips > Tiers and click on the tier you want to modify
- In the Settings section, find Content restricted to current patrons
- Search for your categories and tags according each content type (posts, media and products)
- Update your tier to save the changes.
Contents are now restricted:
- It is unlocked for current patrons with a tier that allows them to see the content
- It is locked for all other cases. It can be unlocked by subscribing to a sufficient tier.
You can imagine lots of restrictions combos to make your more expansive tiers more attractive!
